Have you ever felt like screaming when your weekend is coming to an end?

I find myself dreading Monday every week. I enjoy what I do, but the politics, cutbacks, and overall lack of appreciation in my workplace has been knocking the wind right out of me.

It seems as though working hard, and diligently saving money will never get me in the right financial position to retire.

I have invested wisely (for the majority of the time), and saved 20%+ of my net income for years, but it still seems as though I still will not have the financial freedom to comfortably retire at a normal age.

I wish to travel and enjoy the balance my life when I retire. I do not want to be confined to my home due to lack of residual income. I especially fear that the government retirement benefits (that I paid in to for decades) will not be there when I need it.
